SilentNotary 2018 annual report

2018 was a year of intense anticipation, wild projections, skewed delivery, and broken dreams for the crypto industry. Driven Bitcoin’s shattering of its all-time high records and market forecasts, and fueled by the hype surrounding ICOs, the industry was flung into a visceral overestimation of technology maturation.

Then, the bubble bursted — several times over, resulting in dashed hopes, crumpled dreams, and a still uninhabitable moon. However, every market crisis exists to separate mature projects from unsustainable ones and SilentNotary took the decisive step from zero to one.

It all started with the formation of stable, core teams to lead and execute the development of SilentNotary and CiL. Members of these high-versatile teams were chosen to address the shortcomings of the industry and develop a decentralized platform that not only addresses these problems, but also will anticipate and carter to fit the unique needs of the industry in legal technology.

With this goal firmly on its roadmap, the team was able to achieve the following:

SNTR

• Listed on 12 exchanges.
• Obtained Smart contract audit with good rating.
• Obtain Legal review classifying the token as utility, hence making further listing favorable.
• Released Web interface.
• Launched backend server in Switzerland.
• Reworked System backend for better scalability.
• Implemented scalable microservice architecture, compatible with further integration of the advanced features of CIL platform.

CIL

• Mainnet launched. Some nodes are constantly work and maintain the network. Dozens of tests were performed, results of which are published on GitHub.

The ongoing crypto winter has proved challenging for the crypto industry, removing the grains from the chaff and forcing a return back to fundamentals. SilentNotary team continues to grow from strength-to-strength, not abandoning any of its objectives or is promised milestones. While the current market conditions is being projected to last a few more months, we remain extremely confident that the best is yet to come yet as we continue to push the boundaries on the cutting edge of blockchain legal tech.
